On the morning of May 30,2025, Director Li Shizhu and Deputy Director Zheng Bin of the Institute for Parasitic Disease Control and Prevention (National Center for Tropical Diseases) of the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention visited GEB for investigation and guidance.

At the symposium, GEB founders Zhang Jinjin and Yu Weiming extended warm welcome and heartfelt gratitude to Director Li Shizhu, Deputy Director Zheng Bin, and their delegation for visiting the institute for research guidance. They briefly outlined GEB's operational status and progress on key R&D projects including sample enrichment and nucleic acid extraction reagents. Director Li Shizhu fully affirmed the achievements of our institute in translating technology transfer projects related to snail schistosomiasis research. Drawing from past technical achievements, he highly endorsed GEB's reagent development in sample enrichment and nucleic acid extraction. He emphasized that the Chinese Center for Disease Control and Prevention's Institute of Parasitic Diseases (National Center for Tropical Diseases Research) would deepen collaboration with GEB to achieve integrated industry-academia-research development. Director Li expressed hope that GEB would continue enhancing its research capabilities, intensify innovation efforts, and strengthen talent cultivation to support the advancement of China's disease control initiatives.

Director Li Shizhu, Deputy Director Zheng Bin, and their delegation conducted an in-depth inspection of GEB's core R&D zones, visiting its R&D center, laboratories, smart production workshops, and mold manufacturing facilities. Through comprehensive evaluations of reagent development processes, they highly commended GEB's global leadership in nucleic acid ultra-fast extraction technology, its cutting-edge schistosome nucleic acid detection kits, and demonstrated strong capabilities in developing new products and emerging fields. The delegation also praised the company's ability to deliver customized solutions for clients while maintaining standardized and scalable production capacities.
